Rocky attended the prestigious Drummers Collective in New York, and studied with Clyde Connors from the U.S. Navy band. He has over thirty six years experience in percussion, and has been teaching since 1995. His teaching philosophy has a strong emphasis on the basics of drumming, timing, and rudimental playing. He feels the students should learn how to read music, as well as hear and feel the music, with a strong emphasis on musicianship. Rocky focuses specifically on each student independently, to objectively identify and understand their needs and potential. He has been a valuable part of CMC since 2005.
