His extensive experience in both fields has led him from the Montreaux Jazz Festival in Switzerland to the stages of Carnegie Hall and others around the world. While in New York, he performed as principal bass of the Chelsea Opera Orchestra and the Red Bull Artsehcro. While in attendance at Manhattan School of Music, Mr. Morris also performed as principal bass of the Manhattan Chamber Sinfonia, which appeared at Merkin Hall and Trinity Church, under the direction of such conductors as Kurt Masur, the late Sergiu Commissiona, Phillipe Entremont, Lawrence Layton-Smith, and Joanne Falleta. He was solo bassist as a member of the Claremont Ensemble, a group committed to presenting masterpieces of twentieth and twenty-first century composers. Additionally, he has appeared as a member of Tactus, Manhattan School of Music?s Contemporary Ensemble, at both Merkin Hall and the Bang-On-A-Can Marathon at the World Financial Center. When Mr. Morris was in New Orleans he was a member of the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra from 2006 until 2009. Greg Tardif

From standing in front of a television dancing and playing air guitar with Bruce Springsteen music videos, to writing and performing at local coffee shops and music venues throughout the DC area, Greg Tardif is a well-versed singer/songwriter who has recently stepped into the world of teaching. He studied Fine Art at The Corcoran College of Art and Design, bringing the idea of composition not only to the visual world, but also to the world of music. Greg has experience playing several instruments, but prefers to spend most of his time composing catchy guitar licks with harmonica accompaniments. Recently released his solo debut album "Purple Octopus Serenade" and a second album on the way, he can't help but use each day to create and explore new territory. Young guitarists and budding singer/songwriters will enjoy his fresh perspective and creative spirit.
